Founded in 2001 by highly experienced real estate professionals, Street Corner Group develops commercial investment properties that range from integrated neighborhood retail centers to large mixed-use projects that include lodging, retail and highway service businesses. While the majority of our properties are located in the Midwest, we are now expanding into strategically selected markets throughout the country.
Specialists in convenience retail, we bring needed retail services to high-growth suburban neighborhoods. These retail developments are found at "hard-corners" in densely populated, high traffic locations, with excellent visibility and access. In addition to new development, Street Corner Group also seeks out acquisitions of existing retail properties that offer value added opportunities.
Our integrated hospitality centers are mixed-use developments located at interstate highway locations and generally combine retail, freestanding service businesses, and lodging and recreation activities. The lodging elements within these developments usually comprise a combination of limited service and extended stay hotels.
We have significant experience in all aspects of investment real estate, including development, acquisitions/dispositions, construction, and property and asset management. Our dedicated, experienced team is capable of handling multi-million dollar developments, as well as assisting a start-up retailer with the opening of their first store.
We currently own or control over 100 acres of commercial land and have almost 500,000 square feet of retail and commercial space completed or in various stages of development. Within just a few years, Street Corner Group has created a portfolio of investment properties valued at almost $100 million, and the company currently has a new project pipeline of over $50 million.
