Street Corner Announces Colorado Springs Project
An affiliate of Indianapolis-based Street Corner Group recently acquired a 4.5 acre site in Colorado Springs, Colorado for the development of an upscale neighborhood retail center. To be called The Village at Talon Hills, Street Corner's new project will consist of a 24,000 SF retail center and a 1.5-acre pad site. Construction of the $7 million project is scheduled to commence in 2008.
Street Corner Developing Hotel Project in Greensburg, IN
Street Corner Group is currently developing Greensburg Station, an integrated highway service development adjacent to the new $550 million Honda Motor Plant in Greensburg, Indiana. This $18 million development is anchored by a new 114-room Hampton Inn & Suites also being developed by Street Corner Group, and scheduled to open summer 2008. In addition to the Hampton Inn project, three outlots are available for sale or ground lease.
Ace Hardware Coming to Avon Corner
Construction recently commenced on a new 16,000 SF Ace Hardware building at Avon Corner, a 10-acre neighborhood retail complex being developed by Indianapolis-based Street Corner Group. The new Ace Hardware store is slated to open fall 2008.
Street Corner Group Welcomes Qdoba to McGalliard Mall Shoppes
Qdoba Mexican Grill recently opened their new 2,400 SF store at the new 5,000 SF McGalliard Mall Shoppes II retail center developed by Street Corner Group. The new high profile Phase II building compliments the existing 52,400 SF McGalliard Mall Shoppes which is shadow anchored by the 650,000 SF Muncie Mall and a Super Target store.
McDonald's Opens at Brookville Crossing
McDonald's Corporation recently opened a new 50-seat restaurant at Brookville Crossing, a 16-acre highway service development of Street Corner Group. McDonald's joins Baymont Inn and Huddle House which also opened new facilities at Brookville Crossing during the past year.
Walgreens Opens New Store at Franklin Point
The new 13,000 SF Walgreens drug store is now open at Franklin Point, a 17-acre integrated neighborhood retail project being developed by Street Corner Group. In addition to the new Walgreens store, Street Corner is finishing the final lease up of the 18,300 SF Franklin Point Shops which is currently 90% leased.
